在常有蜻蜓出沒的農村，從前流傳著當蜻蜓飛進家裡時能帶來好運和吉祥；在古詩中也常常提到蜻蜓的美。那些說法相信是來自人們對蜻蜓了解後所感受到的。蜻蜓的出現讓我們知道這裡有著美好的環境和水源；人們的耕種讓蜻蜓有了更好的地方棲息；蜻蜓能減少害蟲，讓我們有更好的收成，這就是一種我們與大自然共生共存的美好，感謝農夫們讓這美境重現在荔枝窩。當我們了解蜻蜓，就會看到蜻蜓有多美，讓我們從古詩中再次感受蜻蜓的美好，在大自然中細心欣賞，也期待著蜻蜓飛進家門的一刻。

Dragonflies are often seen in the countryside. According to legend when a dragonfly flew into the house, it would bring good luck and auspiciousness, also the beauty of dragonflies was often mentioned in ancient chinese poems, I believed those statements are come from when they observe more about dragonflies. The appearance of dragonflies let us know where have a beautiful environment and water source ; people's farming has given dragonflies a better place to inhabit; dragonflies can reduce pests and let us have better harvests. This is a kind of symbiosis between us and nature. Thanks to the farmers for making this beauty reappear in Lai Chi Wo. When we understand dragonflies, we will see how beautiful dragonflies are. Let us once again feel the beauty of dragonflies from ancient chinese poems, appreciate to the nature, and look forward when dragonflies fly into the house.
