Dexter Lee Yin Tsang 李彥錚

Hong Kong Artist

Graduated with Best Artwork Award (Applied Arts) of the Year at the Hong Kong Art School. Since his graduation work When we under the sun, Dexter has been exploring the relationship between humans and nature through his works.

His video work Ladder Street was exhibited in the Leung Ping Kwan, A Retrospective Exhibition in Hong Kong and Taipei (2013-14). His new work Filtration from earth is selected to be exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2021.

Details in life inspire Dexter’s creativity, while he hopes to inspire the others to apprehend their life through his works.

In 2015, Dexter co-founded the "Sap Fong" art education group with his friends, hoping to share the possibility of creating in daily life through the workshop. We provide community art activities, creative course design, and art therapy services for young children, parents and children, the elderly, and people with different abilities. We believe that everyone can express their feelings and discover their own unique stories in the creative process.

In 2018, he participated in the mud-architecture project and filmed a short documentary in Taiwan. Since 2019, he has participated in the Lai Chi Wo art project as an artist-in-residence and video recording. His work Filtration from earth was selected to be exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2021.

畢業於香港藝術學院，主修應用藝術，並得到年度最佳畢業作品獎。從畢業作品《「惜」日當下》開始探索人與大自然之間的關係。

李彥錚的錄像作品《樓梯街》分別在香港及台北的《回看，也斯（1949 — 2013)》展出(2013-2014)。

2015年與友人合力創立《拾坊》工作室，希望透過工作坊分享在日常中創作的可能性。為幼兒、親子、長者以及不同能力人士提供社區藝術活動、創意課程設計、藝術治療服務，相信每一個人都可以在創作過程中表達感受，發掘自己獨特的故事。

這幾年間走訪了不同地方拍攝記錄短片，2018年於台灣參與土建築計劃及拍攝記錄短片。2019以駐場藝術家及錄像記錄的身份參與了荔枝窩的藝術計劃「尋田．探土」。作品《Filtration from earth》在2021年意大利威尼斯建築雙年展中展出。

從創作將自然融入生活，也將人帶進大自然中。
